Neither VLC or totem will play picture

I have loaded all the totem required plugins and also put on VLC. Both plays great sound but no movie.

Could you please upload the file somewhere and give us the link? Or run (in the terminal)

totem-indexer ./filename.fileext

and post the output? Most likely its just a broken video file.

Okay, I had a bad file, put other files up and totem did as it should
