problem with subtitles

Subtitles are about 1 or 2 seconds too late. How can I move subtitles?

If this is the actual subtitles, then you probably won't be able to reconfigure it. There is an application in the repository called Subtitle Editor that may the solution, though.

There are a few subtitle editor in the repository. That's probably your way to go if you want to produce a good subtitle file.

There are easier solution though. Some media player allow you to change the subtitle delay (that will only work ok if the delay is constant though). There is an option for doing this in SMplayer (its a Mplayer frontend. You'll find it in add/remove). That's actually the only player I can think of (with this function) in Linux but there might be others.

ok, thanks. I'll try with SMplayer. And if that doesnt work, i'll change subtitles with Subtitle Editor.
