Cant Play A Video (WMV File)

I tried to play a video ( WMV FILE ) and is says " Failed to connect stream: Invalid argument " How can i Fix this?

Try to play the file with VLC. (You can install it for example with Synaptic).

i installed these codecs via Synaptic

libdvdnav4
libdvdread3
xineui
mencoder
avidemux
transcode
ffmpeg2theora

aftrer that I could play wmv files.

playing dvd's is best wit ogle-mmx and ogle-gui

playing live TV streams like http://www.uitzendinggemist.nl
mozilla-mplayer
gstreamer plugins for mms (in totem)
gstreamer plugins bad
gstreamer extra plugins
gstreamer ffmpeg video plugins
