Is it possible the subtitles to be at the bottom of a fulscreen play.

I want to see the subtitles at the bottom of the screen when the film is played at fullscreen. Now they are at the movie. There are a huge black zones (for almost every film) which are good place for the subtitles. Sorry for my english. I'm not a native speaker.

Sorry but it's not possible. Mplayer and VLC doesn't have that feature yet.
There is a tricky solution at http://deadcabbit.blogspot.com/2008/03/set-subtitle-position-outside-movie.html but it's not a good one.
