How do I use the Totem Movie Player to play cd's?

I place a cd in the E drive and the Totem player comes up. It plays for 6 seconds and then it starts and will not continue to play the entire song.

The totem player will not play an entire cd. It will only play for 6 seconds then it stops.

I also would like to know how to download music to the totem player so I can listen to music.

totem player is useless for humanbeings !!
it seems as it have been developed for aliens!!

well friend try real player and for .mp3 try xmms
type
sudo apt-get install xmms

or su -
then write'' yum install xmms''
