Could you be more specific? XBMC is a very good media center with plug and play capabilities.

open terminal, copy and paste one by one:

sudo apt-get install python-software-properties pkg-config

sudo apt-get install software-properties-common

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc/ppa

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install xbmc

Then open XBMC and enjoy
