totem package

my totem movieplayer will not play dvd's i bought in the store, what do i need and where do i download that?

I bought a movie DVD and my movie player will not play it. the message says "Please install the necessary plugins and restart Totem to be able to play this media".

I would appreciate your help

sudo /usr/share/doc/libdvdread4/install-css.sh

There are other options : VLC , SM Player etc. If are using VLC select Media > Open Disc then select DVD in it. Then play it.

If you are using SM Player, select Open>DVD from Drive or DVD from folder.
