cant play DVD movies alwys comes up with error cant read

I cant watch any of my dvd movies always gives me this error saying cant read dvd or when i go on line to watch my netflex says the same thing ive tried downloading other programs but again they wont work HELP!!!!!!!!

Hi ,

if you mean Netflix (and not Netflex) it has not a native cooperation with Linux.

Some repositories have packages for this service , you can try and see :

As for the DVDs try to install some restricted codecs..

$ sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

also medibuntu codecs can help..
