Movie Player does not play MP3 DVD's

I am using a computer with the Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Operating System and the Totem Movie Player 2.30.2 does not play DVD's In the MP3 format.

How can I get the Movie Player to play MP3 DVD's, or is there an installable player for this system?

MP3 DVDs aren't anything special. Have you tried VLC?

Lucid has less than 6 months support left. I suggest you clean install with Precise then restore user data from your backups. This gives support til 2017. Or install a clean Quantal install for the latest bells and whistles but with shorter support

Maybe 12.04 is beter choise because of 5 years support.And yes, try VLC or Smplayer.
