totem package

Problem playing DVDs. Movies interrupt in the middle

Hello!
I have attempted to see movies with Totem, VLC and gxine. I have gotten libdvdcss2. With all players, the movie runs fine except for 3 chapters right in the middle. I have tried the DVD with Windows without any problems.

run totem from the console and see if you get any errors when you hit those chapters

I do get errors if I hit those chapters. Except with VLC. VLC just stops running.

Hmm it sounds like it IS the disk. When was the last time it ran in windows? After you started getting these errors?
