all my video players play with wrong colors

Hello,
since the new version of Ubuntu 12.04, I am having a problem with all my video players (from Ubuntu & also VLC player). None of them plays the right colors of the video that I want to see. On my browser I have no problem the colors are all right, but once I want to watch a video or series on my desktop, the colors are mixed the red comes purple the green yellow and and and...
I would be glad if you can help me!

Have you tried different video output methods under vlc settings?

Fix 1 didn't work out with me but Fix 2 did!
