Howto delete the logs from the Movie player menu and recent file

I found that the movie titles that I have seen by using the Movie player appear on the menu and recent files of ubuntu dash home. How can I delete these log records from the Movie player and Ubuntu dash home?

Search dash for 'privacy'

You can clear the logs there, you can also tell it not to log certain apps.
