subtitle

Asked by dianadurusbek

hi, so I am having a problem with the subtitles for the video, to watch a movie. so basically, the subtitles are supposed to be in russian with russian characters, but instead the subtitles look different, that I can't even read them. I went to TOOLS bar, and clicked SET THE LANGUAGE, but this option doesn't give me russian language, only english - that I think where the problem is, and the reason why the subtitles characters look wierd. anyways, what can I do now?

I've linked bug report, you can change the status to new and describe the issue, perhaps incl. a screenshot.
The bug should be also submitted upstream, since it couldn't be found in existing bugs there.

Or maybe ask in their support forum first.

As alternative SMPlayer was recommended there.
