Hmm.. Do you mean Spider-Man 2, the game for Windows?

Unfortunatly, you cannot play this game under *buntu... Its not on the Cedega list (Cedega is a program which will let you play *some* windows games through some kind of "emulator" on Linux and MAC), so if your relatively new to Linux, you shouldnt even try to get it working... Im sorry, but I dont think anyone is going to be able to help you in this one.

What I forgot to tell: The game is written for Windows, using Windows 3d software, and all kinds of other software not available for Linux... If you want to play other games, originally designed for windows, you should check the above website if the game is supported. Even then, its not that easy to actually install and play the game...

No, it is Spider-Man 2 the movie and the problem occurs with all dvd movies.

Have you got libdvdcss installed? Enough documentation is found when googling for "libdvdcss2 ubuntu". Hope this helps your problem...

To get libdvdcss you may want to add the medibuntu repositories. Go to www.medibuntu.org. This should make it possible for your computer to play DVDs.

Hello out there. I'm a newbie user on Ubuntu and I was triying to play some DVD movies under Totem, but I get this error message: "couldn't read from resource". The thing is that actually play some DVD movies and some others not. WHy? Is possible to fix this problem? It seems something like a Region problem. Thanks!

Can you help with this problem?
