How do I disable the auto play so it won't play as soon as I pop a cd in ?

I want to know how to disable autoplay for cd's

if you goto system -> preferences -> removable drives and media, you can configure what happens when a cd is put in a drive and such (look in the multimedia tab)

Open up a Settings Manager, go to File Manager and choose "advanced". On that tab you'll find the word "Configure" written in blue. Click on it to open another set of tabs, click on Multimedia and uncheck the play audio CDs button.
