no video player(ubuntu 9.04-linux)

Hello Jeff, can you please be more specific.

I take it you are trying to play a video file. Have you tried to install VLC media player? You should have movie player installed by default though i find that vlc plays anything i throw at it with no problems. If you have Internet access please use the Software center to search for and install VLC, then right click your video file and choose open with VLC.

Let me know if that works for you :) OR please provide more information on what your attempting to accomplish and the environment your using. What file type, what player ect.

Jaunty is not supported in ANY way. Please upgrade to at least Lucid. Jaunty is end of life (EOL)
