When I try to play a video I press play movie then it ask wide screen or full screen then when I press on either wide screen or full screen it will not go any further. Could someone please help me with this problem.

I had a similar problem...the way I got around it was *before* I went to the full screen I go to the *Go* menu and select DVD Menu. Then I press 'play movie' and once it has started I set it to full screen.
