Movie player will not play entire feature

The DVD yoga instruction will not play. I insert the DVD and play open movie, the DVD starts it plays the FBI warning and the intro on being in good health and then it stops playing it will not move on to play the instructional part of the DVD. If you restart the DVD the same thing happens playing the FBI warning but the the instructional part of DVD will not play. I know the DVD is playable because I had played it on Windows Outlook before switching to Ubunti.How do I get the instructional DVD to play,. The DVD is not a copy but a DVD from Yoga Journal magazine.

Run:

sudo apt-get -y install libdvdread4; sudo /usr/share/doc/libdvdread4/install-css.sh; sudo apt-get update; sudo wget --output-document=/etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/$(lsb_release -cs).list && sudo apt-get --quiet update && sudo apt-get --yes --quiet --allow-unauthenticated install medibuntu-keyring && sudo apt-get --quiet update; sudo apt-get -y upgrade; sudo apt-get clean
