downloaded wma file not working

I've downloaded a torrent wma file(movie). But when I open this it does not work, but an error message comes instead, thus- the stream is encrypted and decryption is not supported

Hello sunita nair,

Just run this command from your terminal program (Applications > Accessories > Terminal or press ALT+F2 then type "gnome-terminal" without quotes):
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

It will install restricted software, e.g Java, plugin for playing mp3, etc.
Hopefully that will solve your problem..
