my laptop is sony vaio e-series model VPCEB46FG which is 64 bit ,
but for the sound there is no plugins available

MPEG-1 layer 3(mp3) decoder
H.264 decoder

is not available so kindly show me the way

See Ubuntu Software Center -> Sound and video. There you can find fluendo codecs for all mp3's. Also try to install gstreamer extra plugins. It must solve your problem.
