my system doesn`t wrok with dvix dvd

I try playing with the media player my dvd what is dvix format but this not work.

sudo wget --output-document=/etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/$(lsb_release -cs).list && sudo apt-get --quiet update && sudo apt-get --yes --quiet --allow-unauthenticated install medibuntu-keyring && sudo apt-get --quiet update; sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras vlc gnome-mplayer

Will install nearly any codec you can desire. I suggest you use gnome-mplayer
