I'm not getting the maximum soundand I have to keep maximizing the sound I do have each time I log on

Asked by Eldora Manshanden

My sound is half of what it once was. I adjusted all I could find and when I go in to "system" - click on sound and adjust to the max, my sound improves another 1/4, but I have to max it every time I log in. My speakers are always turned to max as well and they were usually at half, with room to turn louder.

open alsa or pulseaudio mixer which ever is installed then adjust pcm volume to max and other presets like master also set to mono.

Can you help with this problem?
