Can I edit a movie I have made?

I made a short movie with my IPOD. Is there a way to edit it. I want to cut off the first 30 seconds or so.

Hi, you could try to use the program 'Pitivi'.
It is a easy video editor.
To install it in ubuntu go to the application menu and start the 'Ubuntu Software Center' (or 'ADD and REMOVE' in older versions of ubuntu), and search for 'pitivi' (without the ' ' ).
Select it it and install it.
It should come in your Application menu (Sound and Video).
Hope it will do the trick.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! It worked. I had to download the manual and fiddle with the program some but I achieved my objective. I cut off some of the beginning and ending of the iPod video to save only the portion that I needed.
