So, it seems one developer started to fix DVD playing problems with totem-gstreamer - look at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=476149

There are bugfixes and adds of missing some important features like seeking for dvdnavsrc. Developers, please read the comments and improve the patch code from http://bugzilla.gnome.org/476149
