Which tomcat version will be in main for 16.04LTS: 7 or 8

Hello Maintainer,

I would like to know if for the next 16.04 LTS tomat8 will be promoted to main section and tomcat7 moved out to universe?

Similarly as has happened with tomcat6 -> tomcat7 change in the 12.04->14.04 timeline.

Or is i still planned to be kept with 7 in main and 8 in universe as it is right now?

If that is still not yet decided please let me know and i will ping again in a few month time from now

yes i have seen that up to wily still same with 8 in universe and 7 in main.

But i am asking one release ahead 16.04 LTS.

Cosidering Wily isn't out, the next release isan't even being considered. It doesn't even have a codename yet......

i'd like to re-ask the same question again as we are getting near to the 16.04 release.

Is it planned to promote tomcat8 to main section and demote tomcat7 to universe?

If that is not planned it would be interesting to know what is blocking that change.
