Tomcat5 is included in the Synaptic Package Manager. Do the following:

1: Open the Synaptic Package Manager
2: Search for tomcat
3: Install it

Hope it helps.

I have installed tomcat but a problem occurs while running.I have copied the web page in webapps folder and when I entered the url as http://localhost:8080/Student-JSP/index.htm the page is not opened and it is showing "Failed to connect".I have successfully installed the tomcat and started running of it.Please help me to solve this problem. I have tried other files too, but it does not work.
