Tomboy sync trouble w/ SSH

Asked by Brewster Malevich

I have a server which I am able to tunnel to (via SSH) using RSA keys. I would like to my tomboy notes to sync to a folder on this server. But when I go to configure tomboy under the "Synchronization" tab (I enter the IP address to my server, my user name and the folder path I would like to sync to), I get the following error:
"Error connecting :( Timeout connecting to server. Please ensure that your SSH key has been added to a running SSH daemon."
and "sync-sshfs" appears on my desktop.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for your help ahead of time,

Nevermind, I found that I was using an old IP address. But I'm still wondering what that "sync-sshfs" mount is doing on my desktop.
