Where are Tomboy notes in Ubuntu 12.04

Asked by dustbindiva

I am trying to find the Tomboy notes that I kept in 10.04 but I cant find any of the menu items that were in 10.04. The Tomboy notes was under Accessories I think. Why doesnt this version have the menu items that were available on the desktop like Places and System and Preferences. I dont know where those are.

Not installed by default.

Search and install tomboy notes from Ubuntu Software Center.

Thanks

Or do it from a command line. Open a terminal CTRL+ALT+T

sudo apt-get install -y tomboy
