How to set opera and foxit reader to start automaticaly maximized?

They should do it automatically if you set them at fullscreen and close them fullscreen.

Use the application "devilspie" It scans for windows, and as they are opened, can perform actions on them. (such as maximize)

You could use shell scripts with launch commands. I believe opera has some launch flags.
