Was leaving tn5250 out of Oneiric intentional?

Asked by Carl Davis

If it was intentional where can I find out what the reasons were. If it wasn't intentional I am happy to file a bug.

Thanks

Clicking on the triangle at the beginning of the line 'Deleted Oneiric' in https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tn5250/+publishinghistory refers to debbug 540953

As you can see from http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=540953 there is no maintainer for the Debian package ony more, and so Debian has decided to abandon that package. Ubuntu follows Debian and consequently has also removed that package.
