tidy-html5 5.6.0 is availble

A new release 5.6.0 is available with various fix on doctype. Can we have this upgrade before the 18.04?

I suggest that you create a bug report.

Ubuntu is taking over packages from Debian, and as far as I can see, also Debian has only version 5.0.2.
So you might create also a similar request in Debian's bug tracker.

There are PPAs here
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+ppas?name_filter=tidy-html5

They come with the usual caveats associated with PPAs.
