Shared address books with Thunderbird

Asked by tdn

Hi

I use Thunderbird on different computers. I would like to be able to use a central shared address book.
I looked into using LDAP. I even installed and configured an OpenLDAP server for storing address books, when I found out that Thunderbird does not support editing contacts over LDAP[1]. This makes an LDAP address book pretty useless then...

I hope you can help.

I am looking forward to hearing your suggestions.

Thanks.

Federico Vera, apparently the sync add-on does not work.

there's a warning on the page stating that if you are using Thunderbird 3 you need to use the new version http://www.ggbs.de/extensions/
