Thunderbird 31.4.0 yahoo bizmail pop mails re-download mulitple times

I have Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with Thunderbird 31.4.40. Have eight email account configured with pop.bizmail.yahoo.com. Each account has inbox with size of 500 MB to 4 GB. Few days back this problem started -> Randomly an email would start getting downloaded x number of time till we go to web mail and "shift" the rogue mail to another folder from inbox. Otherwise, other mails coming AFTER the rogue email will not get downloaded.

What could be the issue? due to some reason, we cannot go to IMAP mode and we need all our emails on online server.
