Start is in Windows. Ubuntu is not Windows.

Shows how to add an HTML signature, is that what you want?

Better create your sign in windows word document file save it as html then point this file in the thunderbird or copy this html file to your linux /home/documents folder then set it as signature file.
that should set the sign.. Test it by write mail and see your sign appears..
Thanks

That's a whole lot of commotion to get a signature. In Thunderbird 16.0.2, at least, clicking on Edit, then Account Settings lets you enter a signature.

Can you help with this problem?
