Mail notify
Open Thunderbird
Incoming mail contained an attached movie file
Opened movie, which ran fine under totem.
Closed totem.
Deleted mail item.
Returned to console from which thunderbird was called.
Message was there.

Just curious, but what is this about? Is it a bug or just an oversight in handling objects?

Clearly some assertion in the program failed, but should it even be turned on in a released program?

Be my guest, if you wish. I only noticed this because I started the sequence from a console. It doesn't seem to affect anything. If you think it is worth it, go ahead.
