Hi

On my appearances preference i have a default font which set, of ting the font keep changing while browsing or working on the computer don't know why it keep changing to larger font the goes back to the default font

Your default font selection is just a default -- if no explicit font size is specified in the web page html, your size will be used. Explicit font sizes will be used, but these days, most browsers (Firefox and Chrome anyway) will allow a minimum font size to be specified, so you can still read even a small font, but I don't know of the reverse, (i.e. no larger than...) which is what you seem to want.
