So if you are not using evolution, which client are you using?

I am using Mozilla Thunderbird but the (contacts) program I am just entering the information in, in it with the (new) option [a stand alone program], and I just using it to store names and numbers which I would like to back up as it is there is a lot of information gathered over time and would hate to loose it, or have to start to re-enter it all again.

I have found a purple Icon with little sprockets image init called CONTACTS (Path: computer - file system - usr - bin) when I click on this it launches the program and displays all the stored information that I have in CONTACTS, now what I would like to know is this the file or is this just a launcher for the program and how can I back up from here, if possible.

Mozilla thunderbird stores its info in the ~/.mozilla-thunderbird directory.

In order to see this folder you must enable showing of hidden files from the view menu in nautilus.
