Thanks for the traces! A couple of things we could check from here:

1. Do you still have crashes when you uninstall thunar-vcs-plugin?
2. Any chance you make traces with thunar-vcs-plugin debugging symbols? I see some errors in the plugin but am missing the actual code lines.

Then get back to me. If it turns out to be unrelated to the vcs plugin then I'll give you a patch to apply, that gives extra debug information.
