In the valgrind-log4 I see two instances of:
valgrind-log4:62: ==31532== Invalid read of size 8
valgrind-log4:147: ==31532== Invalid read of size 8
Found 2 matches for "Invalid ".

As a note, the crash is sometimes difficult to reproduce. That is, sometimes copying works fine, other times it crashes. It's more or less random...
