Too big docs for extra latex

Hey

I looked in synaptic that texlive-latex-extra recommends (but not depends on) texlive-latex-extra-doc. But when i invoke apt-get install on texlive-latex-extra, texlive-latex-extra-doc is being downloaded and installed anyway (so it's about 240 MB of some strange docs that i will never open, i don't even know where to look for it). Why it was installed agains my will?

You didn't say you didn't want them so you will WAS to install them. You can use the extra options to not install the package.

Try
apt-get --no-install-recommends …
