packaging request for texlive distibution

The glossaries package had been created to assist users in creating glossary. It supports multiple glossaries, acronyms and symbols. It replaces the glossary package. To enable the use of glossaries package,we load it :
\usepackage{glossaries}.
for glossary generation, makeindex is not recommended (according to http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/LaTeX/Glossary). Rather, xindy is highly recommended. (actually makeindex does not succeed in generating the glossary).

thus, I ask (and suggest) for adding the xindy index generator in the texlive distribution in order to avoid makeindex problems.
