Auto-startup Terminator after boot with one command

How can I tell my Ubuntu 14.10 machine to automatically open a terminator instance at full screen and have it run one command automatically, for example sudo apt-get update.

Did some research but found no clue.

Why not just add it in /etc/rc.local instead. It's a bit neater.

What do yo mean? Are you referring to terminator or to the command?
