amazon.fr and amazon.ca searches

Asked by Eric Pons

Hi,

I am a complete beginner with Ubuntu (or GNU/linux for that matter), and I was using Tellico which is a very fine software (Tellico 1.2.7 with Ubuntu 7.04). What I saw up to know make me want to stick with them.

But when I want to import data from amazon.fr or amazon.ca (french is my native language, half of my books are in french), I can only find amazon.com in the searches. I already tried Tellico with another linux distrib (PClos) and those searches were available, as it is stated on Tellico's website (periapsis.org/tellico).

So my questions are "did I do something wrong, is there something lacking on my install, is there any way to get amazon.fr and amazon.ca back?"

Thank you for your answers,

Eric.

You probably just need to add them as data sources. In the Data Sources configuration (Settings->Configure Tellico), click "New", select Amazon as the type, then set the country as you wish. You'll need to add one for amazon.fr and one for amazon.ca. Or if those sources are already there, you can modify them, as well.

Oups...
That was quite simple, I'm sorry I didn't figure it out by myself.
Thank you very much for your help.
