libudev in closed source project

Hi,

I'm currently using libudev as a dependency of QT in a closed source project. My understanding is that this is a problem as libudev in trusty depends on libcgmanager0 which in turn depends on libnih which is GPL.

1) How is it possible, that libudev is LGPL if libnih is GPL?
2) Building libudev without support for cgmanager should fix this for me; correct?
