Edubuntu Login in problem

x86 computer gateway model

what is the startup Login ID and password?;
when edubuntu 6.06 starts up with : "ubuntu 6.06 LTS edubuntu tty2; edubuntu login:" it appears to be looking for a server login and password of some kind. But i cannot go any furthewr than this. It will not log into edubuntu desktop, Is this a server setup?

When you installed it, it didn't ask you to provide an username and password?
Use them to log in.
