Pre install package details

I guess this is a feature request. Synaptics is a very useful system but I've always thought it would be appropriate to be able to see what files would be installed if I choose to install a certain package. Would this be possible to do without too much difficulty?

This is something that should be asked in the form of a feature request against the synaptic package. You can start the bug report by going to this link: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/synaptic/+filebug

Once you submit your feature request, developers will reply to that bug and not this question.
