do we have such a program called (gotomypc) wich i did not find in the synaptic package.

There is a program which is an alternative to gotomypc in ubuntu i.e freenx (Its really fast.. believe me.. I have checked it out)

If you cannot find a program in synaptic you can always try other places such as http://www.getdeb.org/ or http://www.gnomefiles.org/ for binary distributions. You can try sourceforge and other places that are hubs of open source activity if you wish to find a non supported progam as well. Not every program is selected for inclusion in the distribution repositories, but there are other sources out there. As always you should be careful when installing binaries or compiling source code that does not come from the official Ubuntu repositories.
