"it shows that there is error in your computer" Precisely what error?

As a GENERAL fix, try opening a Terminal, connect to the Internet and issue the following commands ONE AT A TIME:
sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt-get -f install
sudo apt-get --fix-missing install
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get autoremove
sudo apt-get update

Does it work or does it stop? At what point and what does it say?

After typing the first command it shows some process and not ending.
The second command has worked. Since my internet is very slow complete
update is not possible.
Now one new problem. While using ubuntu software centre for updating
the software initially it is showing that applying changes. It is not
showing the amount of package downloaded initially.

Please provide the details, especially the exact text af the error messages.

Please open a termianl (ctrl-alt-t) and issue the commands one by one:

sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt-get -f install
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

provide your password when asked so (note that you will not see any feedback, no echo, not even '*' placeholders).
Wait for each command to finish (that might take some minutes) before you enter the next one.

Finally select all output in the terminal window (edit - select all), copy it (edit - copy) and paste it into a new message of this question document https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/synaptic/+question/166612

ok, that shows already some progress.

please try again with the same commands as before:

sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt-get -f install

I have the suspicion that either your router equipment or your provider interferes in the processing of 404 (file not found) messages.

Please provide the output of

head /var/lib/apt/lists/partial/in.archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_natty_main_binary-i386_Packages

and please tell what the result is of opening this URL in your internet explorer:

http://in.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/natty/main/binary-i386/Packages

Please tell exactly what kind of error or search message or... you see!

Fom your last output I conclude that you do not have the issue with wrong
404 handling.

Now we have to find out where the "W: Failed to fetch ... Hash Sum mismatch"
message comes from, and how it can be solved.

Please open a terminal and issue the following commands:

sudo rm var/lib/apt/lists/partial/*
sudo apt-get update

and again copy/paste all output.

For further processing there is the question how you want to download the
data for the software updates, if your internet connection is very
slow/unreliable/expensive.
The updates for your system currently waiting to be downloaded and installed
are about 270 MB (see "Need to get 270 MB of archives" message in the
output).
There are some possibilities to use a different computer and/or a different
internet connection for downloading the .deb packages. You have to make up
your mind how you want to go on.

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask brittomail.com for more information if necessary.
