Synaptic Manager Ignores Repositories with "Translation-en_US"

Asked by 74corvette

Hi there,

Basically what started this is I am trying to test my Lucid desktop to gnome3 as per these instructions http://live.gnome.org/GnomeShell/DistributionPackages , I am having difficulties with synaptic connecting to repositories that seem to end with "Translation-en_US". All other repo's connect that do not end with "Translation-en_US", is this a location/language setting or something else? Please see my synaptic update below. Any help in understanding this and/or resolving this would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Try changing server in software centre, don't use the best server button, manually select one yourself. The repo you are using may be being updated so will be ignored

Can you help with this problem?
