20.04 Support?

Asked by Anirudh Maddula

Hello, I am from the Confidential Computing team at Microsoft. We are looking to use a swtpm PPA for our services, but we need support for Ubuntu 20.04. Is there any chance that official support will be added for 20.04? Otherwise, we will probably need to make our own custom PPA for now.
Thanks,
Anirudh

swtpm in in the Ubuntu repository.
It is for Kinetic and Jammy Ubuntu.
Currently it is not available for Focal backports or updates.
You will have to contact Debian.
Debian has TPM2 Software stack library package.

Following the Ubuntu strategy, the only possibility to add swtmp to the "official" Ubuntu repositories for Ubuntu 20.04 is with a backport (see the link in the FAQ)

There are "unofficial" PPAs. You can either create your own one, or use one of these which already exist: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+ppas?name_filter=swtpm

Can you help with this problem?
